Am I a runner? Absolutely not (insert curse words). Do I even like running? Also no. 🙃
But here’s the thing, over the last 6 months, it’s gotten a whole lot more enjoyable. Why? Because I realized I wasn’t doing a great job of taking care of myself. So my husband signed us up for a race, we committed, and suddenly we had a plan. We trained, we supported each other, and we actually started celebrating the little wins along the way. (Like my body not breaking after 1km. Small victories, friends. 🏅)
And it hit me, this is exactly why I am “running” the Wellness Beyond Weight Collective. Because sometimes taking care of ourselves feels impossible without accountability, a plan, and a community to cheer you on.
If you’ve been struggling to put yourself first, feeling stuck in the cycle of “I’ll start tomorrow,” or wondering why it all feels so complicated, I get it. We’ll tackle the barriers together, and go much deeper into the whys of what’s happening.
We’re not meant to do this alone.
